Food Matters

Thanks to all the people I have been talking to recently about food and food accessibility in Massey!

My Backyard Garden Project started on 8 July with 22 garden beds built in Massey! Check out the Activities page for workshops. Contact me if you would like to register for the next MBGP intake.

Fair Food, a food rescue organisation covering west Auckland are looking for help with collectingand sorting donated food from existing retail contacts - see ‘Food Rescuer’ on Seek or email
info@fairfood.org.nz. Note volunteers are required to lift up to 20kg. 

Community Gardens are always open to new members with or without previous knowledge! Call in to Woodside, Jadewynn, Triangle Park or Manutewhau on Saturday mornings or contact Viv for their details
