Neighbours Day Cuppa Kit Project

This year both the Manutewhau Community Hub, and the Lincoln Heights Hub, hosted High Tea parties for Neighbours day. 

The Idea of the event was to bring the community together as one, and to be a way of getting to know your neighbours in a fun enjoyable environment for the whole family. 

Together we created a place that the community could come along to and connect with each other and enjoy some community made food, drinks and fun games for the kids. There was even some awesome spot prizes to be won.  

In support of the event, we had the pleasure of having on board The Massey Mens Shed. They had their Massey famous wooden car making and race track which was a huge hit. We also had the lovely Maya Gaudin Kasupene, who was our face painter on the day. 

I would like to thank everyone that supported us in making the day happen. A massive shout out to all the volunteers and everyone one who participated.
