Kitchen opening at Massey Hub

Yesterday we had our kitchen opening and the Hub is finally open again!

Thank you so much to Richard Nahi for opening up our new space. Thank you to the Henderson-Massey Local Board , our Waitakere Councillors, and Auckland Council for your continued support and for allowing us to recreate a space that is the heart of the Massey Community Hub. We know our team and hirers will make great use of this new kitchen!!

For morning tea we had the Triangle Park Community Teaching Garden join us and share some of their beautiful produce that they grow to put into their Community Sharing Fridge which sits in the kitchen. We also had Wise Women share some beautiful morning tea in celebration of Eid.

All in all, it was a beautiful morning and start to our week. We even managed to get a Massey Matters team photo of our current team 😆
