Youth Voice Camp 2019

During week 2 of the School Holidays MYC attended our annual Youth Voice Camp organised in with collaboration youth groups from across West Auckland (Zeal, MPHS, Ranui 135, Sport Waitakere & TYG).

Jerikoe, Malakae, Tane, Malcalm, Jerome from MYC attended the three day camp which involved bonding activities, friendly competition between house groups and art making.

They also enjoyed learning about the skills and traits of leadership from listening to all the leaders who spoke about thier ups and downs.

Overall it was a great experience that they’e recommend to other youth to take up and also look to continue to share through regular catch ups with the groups they met at Camp.
