Massey Food Hub Project

In 2015, Lee Hickey from West, completed research for the Massey Food Hub Project – empowering our community to have access to fresher and healthier food choices. Residents expressed a need for and support of this project. 

As sometimes happens in Community Development, the means and resources
for fulfilling the need / wants of the community are not always at hand, and great ideas are left waiting quietly until they can be realised. 

Thanks to generous funding from Foundation North, Massey Matters is happy to announce we can now begin to ‘grow’ this project. We will soon be advertising for a part time co-ordinator.
